What are e-tickets?
The concept of e-tickets has been on the rounds since the 1950s. It refers to a very interesting, thrilling story and also a very expensive situation.
The e-ticket derives from the tickets that were used in the Disneyland and the Walt Disney theme parks in the late 1980's. The people who were interested in going to the parks had to take tickets from a range of A to E in which E-tickets were known to be the most expensive ones. These E-tickets were always reserved for the latest, newest and also the most expensive and the popular rides of the Disneyworld attractions.
These tickets could be purchased either as booklets or individually. When purchasing booklets it contained tickets of every different category, for example the A, B, C, D and E-tickets.
The rides which were a lot less popular and less common were designated to the categories A, B, and C and those which held greater importance and popularity were designated to the D and E-tickets, with E being the highest.
Disney originally gave them a name of coupons however the guests gave them the name of e-tickets because they were taken with the booklet of tickets which were originally till the D-tickets.
Nowadays e-tickets are referred to the online tickets that are printed out at home with the company's bar code and are much more convenient to be taken from home. The ticket is then verified at the entrance and is after that ready to be used.
